Atlanta soul singer-songwriter and Organized Noize co-founder Sleepy Brown has kept a relatively low profile since releasing his third solo album Mr. Brown back in 2006. There have been rumors, dating back to last year, floating around about the multi-talented crooner's project Sex, Drugs & Soul and a possible 2012 release date. The release of the new single "We Run the Night" may be a sign of Brown kick starting the promotion for Sex, Drugs & Soul or possibly another project. The new single has a nice mellow vibe, which is ever more appropriate with the arrival spring. Despite his perceived absence, Brown's silky falsetto shows he hasn't lost a step and still has plenty of soul to spread around. At the moment there is no official release date for Sex, Drugs & Soul. So, until then we'll have to vibe out to Sleepy Brown's latest soulful offering.
