To promote his newest release, Robert Glasper, flanked by Bilal and Lupe Fiasco, took to the stage of The Late Show with David Letterman last week to perform "Always Shine", a favorite off Black Radio. With lyrical depth and vocal dexterity, Fiasco and Bilal man the mics while Derrick Hodge attacks the bass. And of course, Glasper smoothly tickles the ivory with relentless talent, bringing much deserved shine to his new work of art. Theatrics aren't needed for a performance with this much depth.
