This new track from California-based DJ Freddie Joachim comes to us just in time for Valentine's Day. It's hard to listen to "Morena" without thinking of how perfect it would be to have it on hand while the sandalwood incense is being lit. Or whatever you have planned for the night. Supple vocals are engrained into a polished Spanish guitar rhythm, all of which play gently against a smooth snare beat. There are hints of Gotan Project with maybe even Thievery Corporation intermixed.
