Shabazz Palaces – "Are You… Can You… Were You? (Felt)" [Video]

Shabazz Palaces recently released the flower-filled, east African-influenced music video for "Are You… Can You… Were You? (Felt),"  a cut from the hip-hop collective’s excellent 2011 Black Up release. Directed by Maikoiyo Alley-Barnes, the video follows a young woman as she rides  her bicycle under clear skies followed by an argument with her mother. Frontman Ishmal Butler, also known as Palaceer Lazaro, makes a cameo in the video by almost hitting the girl on the bike with his car. Along with the release of the video, Shabazz Palaces released new dates for their upcoming North American and European tour. Check out the video for "Are You… Can You… Were You?
