Mashup Monday – We're back again with some of the freshest mashes to start your week off right. These are the mashes that are worth hearing, so stop your searching and instead settle down at your computer… turn up your speakers… and get ready for that sweet nectar that only EARMILK can give ya. Let's GO.

Huge list for y'all this week. And with an Earmilk exclusive on Super Mash Bros. new track. It's good, especially after a long hiatus, but for a more detailed description check out it out here.

Even though I posted a track from The Jane Doze last week, they came out with a new track that is just killer. Honestly I think it rivals their classic "Bullshittin' on My Coffee Break" (found here). Taking the mesmerizing vocals of Lana Del Ray (pre-SNL fiasco) and combining her with some Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, and Afrojack created an audio gem. I have never been a huge fan of Lana, and her SNL gig certainly didn't help her, but The Jane Doze certainly makes me appreciate her much more with this chill, yet at the same time upbeat, electro mash. Then of course, I can't forget about their brand new collab with DJ Bahler which utilizes some Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, and Skrillex. The sample combination isn't my favorite, but the female vocals work well enough with Skrillex's softer "Breathe"/"Summit".

Now, I want to take a second to highlight 3 up-and-comers that I think are on the verge of making it big. Two of them – Dotcom and DJ Rudy – have seen definite growth in their FB popularity since I first started listening to them, and their growth is much deserved. They have an uncanny knack of creating great electro/club bangers mashed with vocals that always seem to go perfectly with the backing/instrumental track. Dotcom gives us "Turn My World On" and as soon as Kid Cudi starts dropping his bars, I knew I was going to like it. The Cataracts section was a little generic, but once again they worked with the beat. Rudy, on the other hand, gives us a short but sweet mash. I've never really heard the female vocalist – Jessie J – but she works wonders on top of Zedd. If you want to win me over, put some sweet and sexy female vocals and you're halfway there. The 3rd artist was one that was well-received the first time I posted about him. Bars Deep gave us "Jahovya Head" and "Mojo So Blow", 2 simple 1v1 mashes. This time, however, Bars takes it up a notch with a multi-sample mash that uses Muse, Skrillex, Pink Floyd, and Wiz Khalifa. Interesting combination for sure, but I was definitely feeling it. Wiz seemed a little forced at times on top of Skrillex, but the mash as a whole definitely shows me that Bars is an artist to keep an eye out for.

While I mentioned a few of the artists, I went all out and gave y'all a huge selection of mashups to jam out to. Make sure you check them all out, because if I were to talk about them all…I'd have to write a novel. Trevor Morgan has a nice 1v1 mash with Avicii and Adventure Club; Not Some Kid takes us back in time with The Darkness, Tag Team, and drops some Wolfgang Gartner on top; Basic Physics gives us a teaser 5 minute track for his upcoming Lift Off album; and DJ Trademark and N3AKO give us some straight party bangers…so get to listening and commenting below.
