When was the last time you heard some hip-hop themed Christmas music that keeps the urban element yet still maintains real holiday cheer? Most of the the gimmick Hip-Hop Christmas tracks end up just mention the holiday without keeping the uplifting spirit. But luckily, I woke up this morning, and discovered A Very Brother Nature Christmas EP from San Diego native rappers Brother Nature. The album is a prefect hip way to celebrate the holiday season without having to resort to Rat Pack classic tracks. This Brother Nature album maintains that real holiday vibe with its jazzy instrumentals with smooth vocals sprinkled on like light snow. Brother Nature comes through with some west coast Yuletide Carols. Enjoy.
