Today's delivery is brought to you by Geike. She was originally the lead singer for the Belgian group Hooverphonic but has just released her first solo effort entitled For The Beauty Of Confusion. Now, when she was with Hooverphonic, she presented a truly trip-hop like sound but, on her solo effort, she has tried to slowly move away from that and get closer to a slightly mellow pop sound. But, today's track actually presents her with more of her older style. The track is called "Smile" and it sounds like a mixture of older Beck material with a splash of Portishead while still injecting a bit of pop.
