Africa Hitech – Do U Really Wanna Fight EP

Mark Pritchard and Steve Spacek together form the duo by the apt name of Africa Hitech. They released their latest EP, Do U Really Wanna Fight, on November 8th on Warp Records, and this collection of four tracks lives up to their moniker. You might call this dubstep or UK garage or any number of limiting genre titles, but it's also laced with tribal influences and hints of old-school dub. It's funky and glitchy all at once, a meeting of the slick sci-fi future and the indigenous past. You can play it loud for a sexy, slow dancefloor vibe (think moombahton BPMs before anyone ever thought to call them moombahton) or keep it at a more reasonable volume and relax.

Title track "Do You Really Wanna Fight" is below for your listening pleasure and you can grab the full EP at Beatport.
