On the same indie rock label as Les Savy Fav, Suckers, and The Dodos, Races are the next runners up. New York's Frenchkiss Records signed these guys (+ 2 girls) from California and brought them to the east coast for CMJ. Now Races are home to the west, touring for their Big Broom EP. This EP includes three songs which will also be featured on a full length album, Year of The Witch, due in March 2012.
The release of Big Broom is set on November 12th. While "Big Broom" is a hit single, "All For You" is another infectiously wholesome track. It has an early 90's rock vibe that sways with the masculine risqué voice and harmonies provided by the two girls in Races. Enjoy "All For You" below.
