Mashup Monday – We're back again with some mashes that will get your week started right. Giving you the freshest, dopest, sickest, smoothest, (every other superlative you can think of) mashups to start your week off with a bang. These are the mashes that are worth hearing, so stop your searching and instead get to listening. Mashup Monday on EARMILK is for the best stuff around, so settle down at your comp… turn up your speakers… and get ready for that sweet nectar that only EARMILK can give ya. Let's GO.
We got some heavy hitters in this week's Mashup Monday. Perhaps you've heard of them: 3LAU, Kap Slap, Basic Physics, Yoni, Mitch-Mash, to name a few. Where do I even begin? Probably with a track that is just mind-blowingly awesome. Of course, I'm talking about my friend 3LAU's new track titled "Jupiter's Unison." He's gone back to making some kick-ass music after his run teaming up with Teekay. Word of advice: make sure to turn up your speakers for this one. We got a repeat performance from DJ Bahler with a short, but sweet, mashup that utilizes The XX (seriously, when doesn't The XX sound good?).
Of course, we also got some new names/DJs for this Monday. John DePinto gives us a sick electronic house mash, as does DJ Millertime, who absolutely tears it up with his "I Can Feel It." V.Becks, a talented female DJ, lays it down with a fun upbeat mash from her Jungle Juice debut album. But with all these names, and all these tracks, I shouldn't have to tell you what to do from here. Well maybe I do: stop what you're doing, get to listening and get to enjoying. Oh, something interesting about this Monday's post is that we got 2 tracks (Yoni and Basic Physics) that sample almost the same songs, but have different backing/instrumental tracks. Do they both work or does one stand out more than the other?
