There are some dirty things in Bushwick but then there are charming things like GunFight!.
Originally from Boston, GunFight! is an infectious rock band with the energy of a five-year-old boy and his first toy motorbike. The southern punk howls from Drew bounce on top of the band's dynamic country and rock spirit. These variations create something that we love from indie music.
Frontier Land is GunFight!'s latest work and here are my personal favorites.
Track 2. "All You Need" is animated with Dominic's fast-paced drumming and Drew's twangy chorus of "All I want to do is to break your heart."
Track 3. "If You Ain't Gonna Leave Me" is a quieter song with mostly vocals and the smacking of a tambourine.
Track 8. "The City Put A Bus Between Us" is short and simple. I might be biased because I can relate to those lyrics and the services of MTA.
Track 10. "Broke With Holes" includes another set of catchy choruses that begins a minute and half into the song. If none of the other songs caught your attention, this song will leave a mark.
