In New York, this annual festival will take place in various music venues from October 18-22, 2011. That is five continuous days of music with genres ranging from dubstep, rock, electronic, chillwave and all other independent sounds. Some popular artists are Neon Indian, Portugal the Man, CSS, Zomby, Cloud Nothings, Painted Palms, Casiokids, Metronomy, and Zola Jesus.
With much thanks to CMJ, Earmilk is able to cover a few of these spectacular live shows and hopefully host a couple exclusive interviews. I, Briana, will do my best to share this legendary experience with Earmilk's indie fans. Our anticipation will soon be fulfilled. For the New Yorkers already attending this festival, find me!
