James Bennett is a Lake District-based solo musician and the voice behind the soothing indie-pop outfit Mozart Parties.
Last year, Bennett brought his solo project to life with the release of his first single, "Black Clouds," an optimistic and poppy look at an incoming storm. Not only garnering praise from several other music blogs, but the song also led Mozart Parties to be featured on NME's 2011 list of 25 New Acts You Need To Hear.
"Wish My Thoughts Away," Mozart Parties' newest release, follows the same path as "Black Cloud" with Bennett creating a daydreaming of a song supported by calming synths and pop-influenced vocals.
Currently, Mozart Parties is offering fans a chance to pre-order the artist's debut single Black Cloud, via Merok Records. The 7" vinyl will feature the original "Black Clouds" track, as well as a new song, "Raining At The Crossroads." Only 300 copies of the single will be will be available until the official release on October 31.
