Looking back at Lauryn Hill's The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, it's hard to believe that that album would be anything but hugely successful. Still, Ms. Hill says, while she might have known it would be "landmark", she had no idea to what degree: the debut album would sell over 400,000 copies in the first week of its release and spend 81 weeks on Billboard's Top 200.
