Time for another episode of the Non-Fat Urban Soundtrack series, which is mixed and hosted by DJ Steve Martin. He is currently in LA where he already brings a weekly mix to the ears of all the LA listeners through his radio show. The radio show is called "My Side of the City" which you can hear Saturdays on KPFK from Midnight til 2 AM in LA or you can check out the mix online.

Today's mix marks the 8th installment of the series. If you are familiar with this series then you are already aware of the mix of tracks you'll get. But if you are somewhat new to this; then let me fill you in. With many of the features on this site, we end up focusing on one genre just so you can pick and choose what type of music you want to listen to that day. But with this Non-Fat feature we actually have a 1-Hour mix that's full of pretty much every genre we post here. You'll get a little dance, hip-hop, dubstep, IDM and the list goes on. You never can truly know what's coming but just know it's dope and pre-approved. So, today's mix features Daedelus, Jammer, Kupa, Devonwho, Kahn, Jonwayne, Wiley, Animal Collective, Coldcut, & Autechre, just to name a few. You'll definitely hear something you haven't heard before. Turn up the speakers, enjoy and show me your bass face!
