There's a hint of irony to the title of Nero's newest track, "New Life." That's because the track goes back to Nero's drum and bass roots, instead of following the dubstep path they've gained nearly-mainstream popularity for. It's honestly sort of a pleasant step back, it's definitely a Nero track, but a step in a different direction. This is a b-side from the recent Promises EP, which consists of four tracks: three of which are various facsimiles of "Promises" (the original mix and remixes from Skrillex & Nero and Calvin Harris). "Promises" already feels like it's been played and posted to death, but New Life is, well, pretty new.
