MUTEMATH – Odd Soul [Video]

MUTEMATH has done something exceptional. Something original. They've made a music video, and it's not the video that's original – although it IS exceptional. What makes the video for "Odd Soul" different than any other video ever made is the way it was made. They broke up the song into individual mediums: Guitar, Synth, Drum, Bass and Vocals. They then recorded each individual section on video, mashing together the five parts into one stellar drool-inducing video that has made me happier than a bear in a honey bee farm. We've compiled all of the videos into one post for you to easily access and of course we've got you the song as well. Enjoy, and learn a bit: this is an example of how to do a music video the right way.

By the way, before we get started, MUTEMATH is holding a contest for the best remix of their song. You can check out the details and submit your remix at:

Music Blogger/ Indie Music Consultant/ PR Representative/ Musician/ Artist/ Entreprenuer/ Comedian/ Music World: Contact Me. Upon this day, I declare that Indie music is leaps and bounds more pure than anything else, and the Term "Indie" means not that a band isn't mainstream, but that a band has been able to hold on to its roots, even through fame and fortune. While the wonderful thumps and womps of electronic music gets me grooving, it will always be the Alternative Indie Rock that guides me to the homeland. And for that -- I both thank it and applaud it -- for it has brought me great pleasure in the past and will so in the future.
