Time for another episode of the Non-Fat Urban Soundtrack series, which is mixed and hosted by DJ Steve Martin. He is currently in LA where he already brings a weekly mix to the ears of all the LA listeners through his radio show. The radio show is called "My Side of the City" which you can hear Saturdays on KPFK from Midnight til 2 AM in LA or you can check out the mix online.

Today's mix marks the 7th week we've had this feature and we want to keep it going so make sure you show your support by commenting on here and also on the soundcloud page. We do this for your feedback so if you dig it; please let us hear about it! Once again we got a pretty eclectic mix to get your pre-weekend started. We start the mix off with some slow DJ Signify then we start kicking it up a notch with some Blockhead. The mix also features work consisting of: The Cure Vs. Otto Von Schirach, The Sea and Cake, Machinedrum, Buddy Holly Vs. Kampion, SBTRKT, DJ Signify Vs. Bukowski, Death Grips, Amon Tobin Vs. Starkey & a happy ending via Her Space Holiday & Breaking Away (the film). Whew! Are you really ready? Enjoy the ride.

Like many, I started my musical education while engaged in playing classical music in school. What began as a simple adolescent activity, quickly transformed into a deep love and appreciation for all forms of music. This love would continue to grow and manifested itself into the form of becoming a Co-Founder of EARMILK. This online music publication has become my outlet to spread all genres of music to those impressionable people, much like me. And, much like you, i'm often literally waiting for the drop....
