Too soul to miss, last week Dutch duo Homework put out a remix EP featuring the smoothest sounds back-to-the-basics house has to offer. 6 tracks with 6 names that you may be seeing for the first time and one of those names is Michael Gracioppo. A forward thinker and a Montrealer, his remix of I'm Into This feels progressive but stays groovy and classy all at the same time.
And if you're wondering just who fucks his MPC all fucking night, well then the man you're looking for is Detroit's 90s house legend Moodymann. A true prophet and visionary of dance music. His preaching has turned into a small sampling fad that you probably first heard in Beatport charted Doin Ya Thang by Oliver $.

Check out the other remixes of course including the Homework stripdown, but you really need to hear the Phil Weeks remix of Hold Me Tight. It's warm, it's glamorous and it samples, wait for it – the Spice Girls.
