There's no exact way of knowing how many songs are released in a day. Whether it be an eighteen second kazoo ditty on Soundcloud, or a Hypem track with 4 hearts, all music deserves a shot. Even on an independent blog like Earmilk, it's impossible to cover every band/song/remix worth listening too. That's why Straight From the Teet is back, and this time…IT'S DAILY! My name is Logan (aka Running) and I will be curating Earmilk's newest old feature, highlighting two up-and-coming artists from two different genres, so sit back and enjoy some good-old-fashioned, non-pasteurized, Earmilk. Drink it fast though, because I'll be coming back tomorrow with more…

Hip-Hop

I recently featured Two's hip-hop meets prog-rock anthem "O.B.A.E." and am happy to announce that Earmilk has the special honor of premiering his newest release ROCKxSOUL. It's a great collection of tracks that you can download here before anywhere else, so get going and enjoy the smooth rhythms.

Chillwave

I don't know what it is about Australia, but they have some of the best "chill" bands in the world. Guerre only helps prove this very positive stereotype I have about Aussies. His latest record Darker My Love is a neo-soul-wave-freak-out…if James Blake and Washed Out got together, it might sound something like this. With undulating synth pads, disembodied voices, and childish guitar ditties, this record is perfect for any gloomy day.

(P.S. Check out Yes Please Records for some more soothing sounds.)
