Mashup Monday – We're going to melt your faces off with enough mashed up music to make you wanna slap yo' mama. teekay will be bringing you the dopest dope in the mashup world. We've been scouring the music lands, and filing through tracks that you enthusiastic readers and musicians have sent us. We've found mashups from DJ's far and wide. We've found down-tempo ones. We've found super fast and beaty ones. Short ones and long ones. Ones that you wanna sit back and enjoy, and ones that will make you want to rage all over a dance floor. We think we've done our part. Let's get s-mashed.
First off, I'm happy to feature my most recent mash "Yacht Week" in America on Earmilk. It's been a long project combining some pop, electro, and progressive, and I'm ecstatic about the result! Next, Madeon puts many to shame with his live mashup including tons of pop hits and underground indie jams, the best part is the video, which if you haven't seen already, went viral in all of 2 days with over 700k views.
Trademark came out with a HUGE album called The Victory Lap that has a blended combination of party bangers and chill grooves. Definitely something to check out at length.
We also have some great tracks from Basic Physics, Touch Face and Romain G, which are a few of my favorites in the bunch. These'll definitely settle your weekly mashatite.
