This is your Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve. We will try to bring you one "chill" track every day. This is for when you get home and you are trying to unwind. You reach for that glass of wine or that unlit Black & Mild or maybe you reach for something more herbal. This track is for those times. We are just your milkmen and I'm here to make a delivery. Chill……

Today's delivery is brought to you by Moka Only and MF DOOM. Moka Only is a Canadian hip-hop artist who dabbled, early, in the hip-hop scene but didn't really hit his first stride until about 1992. That's about when he got involved with the Canadian hip-hip group, Swollen Members. Eventually he started just being more "anonymous" and working with many different groups and doing solo work. Today's delivery comes from Moka's 2005 album entitled The Desired Effect which made the rounds underground but I'm not sure if it received the attention it deserved. But, I'm sure hearing the fact that today's track also features MF DOOM on the vocals; you'll be more inclined to check out the whole album if you haven't. Now, I was kind of conflicted about posting this track, "More Soup", because it has a pretty steady and fast drum beat but I think the constant pace of your head bob is what really makes this track "chill". And of course the smooth wordplay from both artists. Check out the track and chill….

Like many, I started my musical education while engaged in playing classical music in school. What began as a simple adolescent activity, quickly transformed into a deep love and appreciation for all forms of music. This love would continue to grow and manifested itself into the form of becoming a Co-Founder of EARMILK. This online music publication has become my outlet to spread all genres of music to those impressionable people, much like me. And, much like you, i'm often literally waiting for the drop....
