There's no exact way of knowing how many songs are released in a day. Whether it be an eighteen second kazoo ditty on Soundcloud, or a Hypem track with 4 hearts, all music deserves a shot. Even on an independent blog like Earmilk, it's impossible to cover every band/song/remix worth listening too. That's why Straight From the Teet is back, and this time…IT'S DAILY! My name is Logan (aka Running) and I will be curating Earmilk's newest old feature, highlighting three up-and-coming artists from three different genres, so sit back and enjoy some good-old-fashioned, non-pasteurized, Earmilk. Drink it fast though, because I'll be coming back tomorrow with more…

Hip-Hop

Dedicated & Careless is That Kid Era's newest mixtape, released just this morning to help build hype for another upcoming release (details are still fuzzy). Dedicated & Careless is a prime example of production-done-right. It's an amalgam of well-respected music and samples that mesh perfectly with Era's flow and clever subject matter. It's not perfect (by mixtape standards) but is worth your time to go: "oh, oh, what's that song he's sampling? Don't tell me! Don't tell me!"

Hip-Hop (UK)

So I kind of cheated today. You have to admit though, the grime and dubstep influence on this track almost puts Skriblah's latest "Belly of the East (They Live)" in a separate genre than the "hip-hop" blanket term. It's the newest single off his debut album The Little White Dot, and it has impressively Orwellian visuals to boot. The Little White Dot features guest producers like-one of my personal favorites-Beatbutcha-so be sure to tune back in for a full album review.

I hate to completely change the tone of this post, but there's a very fun, inventive, music video that just came out for Lanu's second single "Fall" (ft. Megan Wasington) off his latest Tru Thoughts release Her 12 Faces. It's a good pallete cleanser if all this depressing foreign hip-hop has left you all angsty.
