There are thousands of popular artists out there today making new singles all the time. With the increase of bedroom producers though, the ability to simply download a whole studio that you can use right on your lap has made original songs more scarce. Now it seems that your finding tens of thousands of remixes by artists with more and more ludicrous names, leaving you wondering "Transexual Viking Sword Bro- what???." This weekly segment will bring you the popular remixes and the never heard of "Transexual Viking Sword Brothers" remixes of an (common) artist's singles. From all these bedroom producers we see one thing, and that is absolutely fantastic, manipulated, warped remixes.

PRE AMBLE: We apologize for the mess up yesterday and hope you weren't too irritated with the post getting taken down. Hopefully the new songs added this time will make up for your discomfort. Enjoy!

Passion Pit has been in the music scene for nearly 3 years now and have gotten a huge fan base. They stole all our hearts with their song Sleepyhead (I know it was the first song I heard by them, and I loved it!). The release of this track really set their career off and they've been releasing amazing tracks since. They've only had one full length LP called Manners which was so amazing that they've gotten a lot success off such a small amount released. They've been described as "Electropop," "Chillwave," and "Indie Rock." I personally feel they're more on the "Indie rock chill wave" side, their sounds aren't too electro sounding but I can see the pop label.  They've had many singles and hopefully will have many more. I went into this post telling myself "It's not going to be just Sleepyhead remixes, it's Not going to be Just Sleepyhead remixes, it's NOT going to be JUST Sleepyhead remixes!!!" so I tried to get a variety of their songs remixed, I hope you feel I just did that! I figured after Katy Perry it's time to please the people with an Artist I'm sure they'll love. Enjoy.

OVERALL POPULAR REMIXES

Here are your more popular remixes of Passion Pit. These were distinctively the 3 main ones I saw. Well maybe not the Calvin Harris remix, more likely the Starmsith ft. Ellie Goulding but i didn't want three remixes of Sleepyhead, as previously stated, this will NOT be a mainly sleepyhead remix post. Enjoy. Highlights on Borgores remix.

CHILL REMIXES

Here are your more Chill Remixes of Passion Pit, this is probably my favourite segment this time. All of the remixes here are absolutely amazing, none even slightly disappointed me. Passion Pit's music is already chill and very relaxing and their vocals are something off their own. These remixes take that 'Indie Rock Chill Wave' label I gave Passion Pit earlier and kick out the 'Rock' and throw in a jazzy feel. Really, really enjoyed these remixes, hope you will too! Highlights on them all!

ELECTRO REMIXES

These are your electro remixes of Passion Pit. You get quite a hefty amount this week which I hope you'll enjoy, the goal of these remixes is to get your mind to explode with awesomeness. These are all really well done, I didn't think I was going to find a lot of electro remixes at all when i started looking because I wouldn't think the electro sound would go well with the sounds of Passion Pit. Oh how sadly mistaken I was. Electro music is like Chocolate, it goes well with everything and will never get old.  Does Electro music rock? Yes! Does chocolate rock? Yes! Enjoy! Highlights on the The Phantom is Drunk Remix, or actually the Kids at the Bar Remix. No wait, The Filth Remix! But also the Miike Snow Remix! Just listen to them all! Their all so good! Such a good week for remixes!!!

FUNK REMIXES

Here are your Funk remixes, now I know I haven't done this section in previous 'Artist Remixed' posts but as you can tell these 'genre groups' for remixes usually change with each artist because there will be different genres remixed for different artists. I also really liked this section because I'm a man of my 'Nu-Disco' or funk as some might say. Highlights on the Eric Solomon Remix and the Daze Remix. (Yes, I am allowed to pick too, no, it is not cheating!)

      Moths Wings (Eric Solomon Remix)

DUBSTEP REMIXES

Yet again, my search for dubstep has failed. This time it was not that a found an abundance of shitty dubstep but more an abundance of nothing. There was practically no Passion Pit dubstep remixes, besides from the Borgore Remix the remixes below are the only tracks your going to find. I'm sick and tiered readers of having zero hits on these dubstep tracks! So next weeks artist, I can promise will not let you down… ;)

HIDDEN REMIXES

If you remember from last week I took it another step further and only added songs to this section that had 5000 views or below on youtube. This week, I've done that, but that on crack. All these tracks have less than 80 views on youtube while some aren't even on youtube. The Bodega Girls Remix was so hard to get, not on soundcloud, not on any downloading site, practically not existent, but we here at Earmilk work miracles. So here it is for your pleasure. Highlights on the Bodega Girls Remix.

Ive Got Your Number (DJ Geppetto Remix)

      Little Secrets (Moths Remix)

OVERALL FAVOURITE REMIX

My overall favourite remix is much more relaxed remix this time. Stuck between the Sammy Choon Remix and The Filth Remix, the chillax (house? almost) feel of the Sammy Choon Remix stole my heart. Not many words can describe it's awesomeness so just simply and blissfully, Enjoy!
