This is your Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve. We will try to bring you one "chill" track every day. This is for when you get home and you are trying to unwind. You reach for that glass of wine or that unlit Black & Mild or maybe you reach for something more herbal. This track is for those times. We are just your milkmen and I'm here to make a delivery. Chill…

Today's delivery is brought to you by Zero Cult. This Soviet Union native, by the name of Emil Ilyayev, started off doing a rock project with a friend of his but around 2002, he decided to switch up his sound and go immediately to producing downtempo electronica music. Going from rock to downtempo seems like a far jump but it must of been what his passion was from the beginning and it just took him some time to figure it out. Now, right off the bat, I want to mention that most of his music definitely needs to be played in headphones or atleast on a high volume on good speakers because he really tries to engulf you in sound. And, it may not really reach it's full inpact, with you, if you are listening to it on a bad setup. The song I'm bringing to you today is called "Where rivers have no name" which is from the 2010 album of the same name. Check out the track and chill…..

Like many, I started my musical education while engaged in playing classical music in school. What began as a simple adolescent activity, quickly transformed into a deep love and appreciation for all forms of music. This love would continue to grow and manifested itself into the form of becoming a Co-Founder of EARMILK. This online music publication has become my outlet to spread all genres of music to those impressionable people, much like me. And, much like you, i'm often literally waiting for the drop....
