Belgium bandmates The Subs dropped their latest EP The Face of the Planet on LektroLuv this week. This is their first release since the addition of their newest member who is a bit of a familiar face. You might know him as Highbloo, the 19 year old freshmen DJ from Belgium who already has more hits than you there sitting on your ass at home. The EP has a good number of remixes by artists I'm excited about, I'm looking at you Style of Eye. This guy slaughtered on the Harvard Bass Pruno EP making me very eager to hear more material from him. His sound is offensive, suffocating, an experimental soundscape you think you're just getting to know only to be kicked with a hard electro drop. Have patience with this dude! His tracks don't hit until the end but like always, there's a reward for waiting.
