One of the reasons I'm such a fan of Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewitt's Gorillaz, is that their albums (and B-Sides) lead me to so many other interesting artists that I would have otherwise never heard of.
After finding this video of a live performance of the song "Empire Ants," I found myself tracking down info about Yukimi Nagano, who sometimes sing with a Swedish jazz band, Koop. And, if even if you're not in to Jazz, I strongly recommend checking them out. They haven't released any new material in four years, but their last album, Koop Island, is one of the best I've heard in a while.
