Hopefully you've heard of Jessie J but if you haven't then you are about to get a quick primer on this amazing talent. Jessie J (Jessica Cornish) hails from London and is signed to Island Records which is the same label Bob Marley was signed with. A few of her tunes have an amazing reggae like vibe while a lot of her other tunes remind me somewhat of something you might of heard from Pink back in the day. Regardless of the comparisons; one thing that remains clear is that she has an amazing writing skills backed with an amazing voice and vibe. She has a few popular songs that she shares writing credits for but really most people are just looking for her album, Who You Are, which is suppose to drop next year in June. Two tracks from the album, "Do It Like A Dude" and "Price Tag" are two singles from the upcoming album. She teamed up with B.o.B. for the "Price Tag" single but I've included the version with and without him. Check out her live performance and the tracks below. Oh, and you might wanna lower you bass for "Do It Like A Dude" if you are expecting a chill track like "Price Tag..just a warning.
