Today's delivery is brought to you by Five Deez (not pictured). The picture above is of the, now deceased, DJ/producer Nujabes if you didn't already know. He was truly one of a kind when it came to his production. His beats hold so much emotion that his passing really hit people pretty hard compared to most artists. But his legacy remains strong considering the recent tribute albums released for him. The latest one, entitled Modal Soul Classics II: Dedicated To Nujabes, does a good job of capturing the presence that Nujabes held and that's where today's track comes in. The track is called "Latitude Tribute Mix" and it comes from the Cincinnati hip-hop group, Five Deez. One of the members of Five Deez, Fat Jon, did a lot of work with Nujabes for the anime Samurai Champloo. But anyway; the whole tribute album is an amazing blend of older Nujabes beats with a lot of newer content sprinkled in. I would highly suggest buying this album if you were/are a fan of Nujabes and if you are new to Nujabes; I envy you because you have an amazing catalog of music to catch up on. Check out the track and chill….
