This is your Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve. We will try to bring you one "chill" track every day. This is for when you get home and you are trying to unwind. You reach for that glass of wine or that unlit Black & Mild or maybe you reach for something more herbal. This track is for those times. We are just your milkmen and I'm here to make a delivery. Chill…
Today's delivery is brought to you by Incubus. They are mainly known for their pretty hard rock songs and you wouldn't necessarily think of them when it comes to "chill" tracks. But on their 2001 album, Morning View, they decided to get more chilled out with their music and that's the album today's pick comes from. This track, "Aqueous Transmission", is the final outro track on a near perfect album. The album was recorded in Malibu California, in a beach house, and I think this track really puts in all the emotions you can imagine from such an amazing setting. You will also hear some asian influenced instrumentals in the track that only help enhance the chill vibe. Check out the track and chill…thanks Amanda.
Lead vocalist Brandon Boyd says that the purpose of the song was to make "the listener pee in his/her pants" from relaxation.
