So tomorrow, the Wesleyan University grads and Brooklyn spawn'ed Management aka MGMT are heading to the Strombo show (Sunday 8pm) with George Stroumboulopoulos for a well deserved sit down and dj set.
Well, maybe not really a dj set but they are taking over his show and playing whatever songs they want – it should be interesting to hear what the boys feel that we need more of in our lives.
They'll be playing tracks from their new album Congratulations and discussing some pretty interesting topics – from what I hear they will be chit chatting about:
- Their approach to their new album
- How they are shape shifters / chamaeleons
- Jay-Z
- Influences on their new album
- (and of course…) Songs that make them sad
So tune in at 8pm Sunday on Radio2 (94.1 FM in Toronto) which varies across the country
