While Bang & Olufsen might be an audio brand associated with sleek and high end design, execution, quality and just as high of a price point, B&O Play is paving the way for a new age of audiophiles with experience, quality and price point in mind. In conjunction with the brand's development in its lines of headphones and speakers, the brand launched a sponsorship with a cultural program called The Future Series. Traveling around the US, the event pairs music, architecture and performance through art, and will hit Greenpoint, Brooklyn this weekend on October 21-23rd.
The exhibit will feature three large-scale interactive pieces created by architectural performance artist Alex Schweder, taking place from 10 AM – 6 PM each day on Norman Avenue and with free entry. Schweder's philosophy on his work is that a person's perception of a space and his or her relationship to that space is malleable as they spend more time there, just as B&O Play seeks to update our relationship to space with music.
