Hailing from Tokyo, Baroque comes from bass guitar – he used to play for 80kidz’ live sets and performed in the biggest Japanese halls and festivals such as Countdown Japan and Fuji Rock Festival – but now produce dark electro techno tracks. His popularity has grown tremendously this past years with his tracks receiving support from Zombie Nation, Para One – even used on Japan's blockbuster movie, Ushijima the Loan Shark.
After a dark techno EP on Milles Feuilles Records earlier this summer, he is back again with a brand new EP. Romans includes 3 tracks, a smart melange of raw electro leads, acid techno basses and old school beats. Baroque really has his own style and it's very difficult to put a label on it but I will let you judge:
