So this may very well in fact be an Earmilk first. If not, than most definitely a rarity. What I am talking about? Any big music fan can distinguish indie pop and instrumentals in a heartbeat. Would you come to believe that both styles can be mixed successfully? Yes, I was skeptical too. In fact, I have never even thought about the two together until I came across I Am Allstars. I Am Allstars is a 17-year-old guy who just loves to play with his guitar in his spare time. For someone not taking his work too seriously, he is making some quality tunes. His latest track is "232 At Midnight".
This song is surprisingly catchy, despite it being only 2 minutes and 40 seconds of just jamming out. Not to mention there is that definite indie pop style incorporated into it, which may seem strange since it's just an instrumental. But hey, it works. And it works brilliantly.
