If my house was on fire and I only had enough time to take a few items on my way out, what would I grab? Hmmm … family photos, tax documents, my tomato plants? Nope. I'd definitely take my Seeed records. No question. I couldn't live without this music, or should I say musical therapy. So today I'm bringing you Seeed's two new songs off their upcoming record (along with the video) and in case you are new to this group, I am posting some of my favorite tracks below.
Seed was born in the German dancehall scene in Berlin and now after a long hiatus they are back with a new album coming out soon. Their two new songs, "Molotov" and "Wonderful Life" ("Wonderful Life" is actually a cover of the same title released in the 80's by Black) push the boundaries of dancehall/reggae. 'Nuff said.
Today's listening instructions:
1. Turn up your speakers
2. Put your hands in the air and shout
3. Repeat as needed
"Forget your troubles, release the stress, dancehall's a place for happiness!" – Seeed
