TV on the Radio will release their latest album Seeds this fall. Seeds will be the first album the indie rock conglomerate has put out in three years. It will also be the first album the band has completed since the death of their bassist Gerald Smith in April 2011. TV on the Radio is known for it's unique blending of musical styles and genres, but It remains to be seen what direction they took when writing and recording Seeds.
In a statement, frontman Tunde Adebimpe says: "we've been through a lot of stuff in the past few years that could have stopped the band cold; but I'm glad we got it together and took stock of the unique connection we have between each other because the record is, 1000%, without a doubt, the best thing we've ever done." This sounds like good news for fans of the art rock ensemble. Seeds was recorded in Los Angeles at Federal Prism and was produced by band member Dave Sitek.
Seeds will hit the streets this fall courtesy of Harvest Records. Enjoy the multicolored, blissful, synth-filled teaser trailer below.
