Donald Glover, a.k.a. Childish Gambino, is well known for his writing, acting, and rapping prowess. After a nice run on the NBC show "Community," the multi-talented Glover has been hard at work on a new project. "Atlanta," which is executive produced and written by Glover, was picked up by FX. The show stars Glover as Ernest Marks, who returns to Atlanta after some career trouble. When he returns, he finds that his cousin is a highly skilled rapper.
Keith Stanfield also stars in the show. Stanfield is best known for playing Snoop Dogg in the film Straight Outta Compton. After a few teasers were released in the past few months, a full trailer for the show has been released. "Atlanta" premieres on September 6 on FX. It should be a fun watch.
