Top Dawg Entertainment's newer signee Reason took to the label's Instagram account on Monday to announce a rather unique new internet challenge for one of his tracks. In a video addressed to his fans, Reason elaborated upon the #FlickItUpRemix challenge, in which listeners are encouraged to submit a video of them rapping sixteen bars over the beat of "Flick It Up." Seems like a pretty standard promo campaign right? The catch, however, is that one lucky winner will actually be featured on the official TDE remix of the track due next year. This incentive is an extremely enticing reward that surely has many fans already hitting the lab to think up verses. TDE even released a version of the track on Soundcloud that has an open sixteen bar slot for fans to fill in with their raps.

This high stakes challenge is surely no joke. Reason even mentioned in the post that he would be combing through all of the submissions and picking out the winner himself. The trippy mysterious beat definitely makes for a good backdrop to spit over, so it will be interesting to see who comes out on top, no pun intended.
