Ukraine-hailing classical pianist, harpsichordist, and chamber musician Margarita Pinkosz is setting an example as an exemplary talent who has not only carved her own remarkable path but also mentored and inspired a generations of music lovers with her enchanting style.
Starting her journey in classical music at age four backed by the musical upbringing of her classically trained parents, Pinkosz who began weaving melodies at at the N. Lysenko National Music School in her hometown accomplished the first milestone of her career at six with her triumph at the National Filharmonia in Warsaw.
Sharing the stage with renowned maestros and leaving audiences spellbound with her artistry, the melodic maestro took the next step to immerse herself in her craft graduating from the K. Szymanowski School of Music in Warsaw in 2004 and obtained three master's degrees in arts from two prestigious universities.
Margarita continued to hone her craft while relentlessly chasing her passion for classical music and achieving numerous accolades. From winning the international piano competition in Brest, France, claiming first position in two categories to earning acclaim in Polish media, Pinkosz’s popularity stook her beyond her country's borders to Belgium and then to the prestigious San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she mastered the art of harpsichord under the tutelage of the Grammy-nominated Professor Corey Jamason, adding an exceptional versatility to her classical musicality.
Her journey into music took a remarkable turn as she received an exclusive invitation to participate in the revered American Bach Soloists Academy in the summer of 2023 further solidifying her position as a trailblazer in classical music.
Apart from her achievements, Margarita nourished a profound interest in mentoring aspiring artists to let her expertise permeate to the next generation. Now, as a seasoned teaching artist, she is helping hundreds of students hone their craft and instilling vital life lessons of confidence, resilience, and perseverance.
