In the past five years, Rolling Loud has grown to become one of the biggest festivals in the world. Building the festival from the ground up has taken a lot of time and effort, and with an edition of Rolling Loud popping up in Sydney, Australia, it's become a global phenomenon. After selling out cities such as Los Angeles, New York and Miami, co-founders Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler have set their sights on conquering Europe, with the announcement this week of the inaugural Rolling Loud Europe.
From the 8th-10th July 2020 in Portimão, Portugal, festival goers will be able to experience the thrill that is Rolling Loud festival. In typical Rolling Loud fashion, they've pulled in some of the biggest names in the rap world to adorn their stage. Headlining the three day event is A$AP Rocky, Wiz Khalifa and Future. They'll be supported by rap royalty such as Chief Keef (performing at his FIRST ever European show!), DaBaby, Lil Uzi Vert, Gucci Mane and Meek Mill. The festival will also have some representation from the UK, with the likes of Giggs and AJ Tracey appearing across the three days.
Speaking about the first ever European edition of the festival, co-founders Cherif and Zingler said this; "After 5 years of building our audience in the US brick-by-brick, it was time to bring the party to our friends in Europe. The location on the beach in Portugal is the perfect spot to kick off our European invasion".
