This Wednesday October 30th head honcho behind the PLM label, Derek Vincent Smith aka Pretty Lights will hit NYC's Roseland Ballroom for a very special performance that will feature his freshly debuted live band. He will be playing alongside Break Science's duo Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee, Scott Flynn of John Brown’s Body, Eric Bloom of Lettuce, and Brian Coogan.

Pretty Lights is currently on tour supporting his latest studio album A Color Map of The Sun. The album which took almost a year to compose and record, spans many genres and time periods over the last century. Additional guests on the new album include Eric Krasno (Soulive), members of the Harlem Gospel Choir, Ben Jaffe (Preservation Hall Jazz Band) and the late “Uncle” Lionel Batiste (Treme Brass Band). Break-beat extraordinaire, Adam Deitch, played drums throughout. Check out the documentary, which was shot over the process and if you are in the NYC area be sure to grab your tickets.
