Best known as the creator and host of the UNSHUT Podcast, international choreographer and performing arts talent Moises "MO" Santizo is introducing a new concept blossoming at the intersection of spoken word, storytelling, and physical media. Building a format that blends long-form interviews with collectible vinyl releases, MO delivers a fresh concept which is the first-of-its-kind in the spoken word and podcast space.
Expanding the influence of his podcast into a physical form with a vinyl-exclusive spoken-word interview featuring former Disney child actor Chez Starbuck, the latest project dives into Starbuck’s breakout role as Disney’s first live-action merman, his experiences working with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and Christy Carlson Romano as well as the personal challenges that followed early fame, including substance abuse, family dynamics, and parenthood.

With UNSHUT having established its influence as an expansive and inclusive space for in-depth conversations with artists, creatives, and public figures – since its launch in October 2023 – MO's new endeavour continues to hone in on his storytelling abilities spanning a vast range of guests. From Grammy-winning and multi-platinum artists to independent creatives and comedians, UNSHUT has reached listeners in 44 countries on Spotify and now with the latest project continues to evolve as an innovative format that extends beyond traditional distribution models.
The vinyl release which has been designed as a limited collector’s item includes a limited-edition double-sided vinyl, an alternate ending exclusive to the record, a QR code granting access to an extended video version of the interview and access to original photos from the project delivering an all-round media experience.
Recorded in MO’s home in Austin, Texas, and pressed locally by Gold Rush Vinyl, credits on the project include production by Dan Smith, artwork by Matthew Marniella, camera and audio by Angel Santizo, and additional camera and behind-the-scenes work by Vincent Carino, all collaborators connected through previous UNSHUT episodes.
Guatemala-born, Los Angeles-raised MO's journey is one marked by resilience, adaptability and creativity. From facing setbacks in college applications due to immigration requirements to quickly establishing himself as an award-winning choreographer, MO's persistence and dedication in the face of setbacks saw him establish a solid presence in the performing arts industry with his company being one of the first to implement virtual choreography feedback through a digital platform.
Slowly, steadily and successfully cementing his place in hosting and on-camera storytelling since 2022, Moises "MO" Santizo continues to be innovator who brings fresh ideas and stories to life.
