Live Nation U.K. and MelodyVR are partnering on Live From O2 Academy Brixton to connect artists with fans around the world for live concerts in 360° virtual reality.
Using leading VR tech, Live From O2 Academy Brixton will bring amazing shows from the iconic London venue right to the screens of audiences around the globe. Not only will each and every show be authentic, but fans will also be able to access the performances from 360° and with the innovative option of choosing the vantage point they want to watch the show from.
This news comes after Wireless Festival’s virtual incarnation, Wireless Connect, which took place between July 3-5th and had over 132,000 fans from over 34 countries tuning in. Featuring exclusive performances from 70 artists across London and LA, showcasing the best of UK and US hip-hop, rap, R&B, grime etc, the three-day extravaganza was the first of its kind, and a soaring success.

Available across UK, USA, Canada, France, Germany, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, Greece and Belgium, the performances can be accessed on the MelodyVR app for anyone with a smartphone/ Oculus VR.
