The 3rd annual FORM Arcosanti announced its full three-day schedule including performances from artists like Skrillex, Julianna Barwick, Perfume Genius, Empress of, Thundercat, and more as well as a series of cultural programming. Originally created by the band Hundred Waters, this intimate festival is a celebration of music, art, architecture and beauty in a free-by-application only gathering of up to 1500 people. It takes place seventy miles north of Phoenix in Arcosanti (an advanced “urban laboratory”).
Boiler Room will be livestreaming select sets from the lineup on Sunday, May 15th on boilerroom.tv.
New to the festival this year, the NeueHouse-curated programming consists of artists and innovators attending FORM this year to present discussions, meditation, multimedia and live art performances.
Programming includes a multimedia performance from visual artist Sanford Biggers, a screening of documentary on architect Paolo Soleri from artist and filmmaker Doug Aitken; a discussion with comedian, actor, and writer Zach Anner who will join GQ Editor Michael Hainey to speak on overcoming a neurological disorder; a mediation and interactive sculpture experience from artist Kathy Garcia; and live action 2D painting from artist Alexa Meade.
They also released a fun, creative short film below titled, “Jacques Greene and the Bad Apples” stars Canadian DJ and producer known for his progressive R&B-house music, Jacques Greene. The video was filmed at FORM Arcosanti and written and produced by FORM co-founder and member of Hundred Waters Zach Tetreault alongside of long-time creative collaborator and director James Alexander Warren. And since the ticket application is now closed, this video is a part of a giveaway using Loveback, which allows viewers to donate right within the video to help fund the experience and win tickets.
Others still looking to attend, who have the extra funds, can purchase a patron package at experienceform.com/patron.
