Chances are you’ve already heard of the headliners for Pitchfork Music Festival, one of Chicago’s most popular fests featuring a plethora of artists on the rise in addition to the three days of more well-known bands that are printed at the top of the lineup list. While you’re waiting to dance all night (or until the park closes at 10 pm sharp) to LCD Soundsystem or be in your feelings during Solange, here are some bands that EARMILK fans shouldn't miss.

NE-HI – Sunday, July 16 – 2:30 – 3:15 pm @ Green Stage

NE-HI is a Bandcamp favorite hailing from Chicago, IL. With under 5k likes on their official Facebook page, this group is a hidden gem performing at P4K 2017, so make it a point to hit their show before they hit the big time and start selling out shows around the city. Their first album, released in 2014, was met with critical acclaim, and the band gained a following due to their tuned-in sound and energetic live performances. Listen to stand out track ‘Stay Young’ below of their latest album ‘Offers.’

Kilo Kish – Sunday, July 16 – 1:00 – 1:40 pm @ Green Stage

R&B singer and songwriter Kilo Kish is sure to make a lasting impression on audience members this festival season, as her mix of enchanting audio and self-aware lyrics make her a hard one to forget. While She’s recorded with Vince Staples, also appearing at Pitchfork this summer, and Childish Gambino, her music is able to stand alone and impress by itself. Her music is smart, unique, and critical to see live during your music hopping at the festival. Listen to ‘Self Importance’ below.

Pinegrove – Sunday, July 16 – 5:15 – 6:00 pm @ Blue Stage

If you’re planning on seeing the American Football reunion, you should probably check out New Jersey-based Pinegrove on your way there. The band sounds like a nostalgic basement-based hometown favorite with a better sound system, giving listeners all the high-school feelies but much better audio at the same time. Pinegrove is old emo, pop-punk, and garage band rolled into one, so don’t miss their Pitchfork set this summer in between glasses of warm beer and cigarette breaks on the sidelines. Check out ‘Aphasia’ off their latest album below.

William Tyler – Friday, July 14 – 4:00 – 4:45 pm @ Blue Stage

William Tyler, a genius with instrumentals, utilizes everything but his voice for the majority of what he creates. Stop by his set for a break from the sun and relax to the impressively mastered sounds of folk that is sure to create a short-lived but magical soundtrack to your time at the Blue Stage. Preview William Tyler by listening to ‘Gone Clear’ below.

S U R V I V E – Saturday, July 15 – 7:45 – 8:30 pm @ Blue Stage

Who wants to get down and dance in the middle of a scorching hot July afternoon? The answer is you after attending S U R V I V E’s set. Sounding like house music underwater, S U R V I V E is just the right amount of lazy hazy heavy beats and pump up volume to get you through the sweltering heat in one piece. Listen to 'A.H.B' below.

Tickets are $75 a day, and $175 for a three-day pass. Check out Pitchfork Music Festival online for tickets and full schedule info.
