Defected, Ministry Of Sound and Skream return as hosts for 2019 edition of Eastern Electrics

Eastern Electrics has a reputation in the UK as a highlight of summer in the city. After the move to Morden Park in leafy South London, the festival is set for a return to their new home in the capital on Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th August 2019. With familiar faces and brand new concepts headed for the capital, the 2019 edition of Eastern Electrics should be a nobrainer for ravers.

Eastern Electrics will host the main stage as always, laying the red carpet for electronic royalty, and with previous headliners including Carl Cox, Hot Since 82 and Jamie Jones – you can be sure that there will be no room for disappointment. An EARMILK favourite The Big Top, headed up by South London native Skream, comes back with something a little different this year. Stepping away from the Skreamizm concept in previous years – Oliver Jones will present new brand 'I Feel' when he takes over for his fifth year as host.

Following the theme of new concepts, Ibiza Rocks and Electric Ibiza presents Cuckooland – bringing a full on pool party reminiscent of their home at the Ibiza hotel to London. Another EE mainstay, The Switchyard, is the industrial stage made up of shipping containers. A favourite amongst the ravers for basking in the sun and absorbing the very best in new music, there will be new and classic house sounds courtesy of Defected. The Plant House stage promises a huge bass line-up and Ministry Of Sound will play up to your blagging rights in the VIP arena – with shorter bar queues, posh toilets, a huge range of cocktails and high-end drinks. There's also the FuturEE stage for the next generation of DJs and the Tropical Tea Party over in Electric City.

Last year saw Eastern Electrics expand into a full weekend event, with hip-hop, bass, garage and more at the forefront for Sunday and stage partners including Rinse FM, Matt Jam’s Lamont’s History of Garage and Bass, RAM Records, Star of EE, South London Soul Train and So Fresh, So Clean. There’ll be another superstar Sunday on the cards for 2019.

Eastern Electrics ticket prices are starting at just £25 for a Saturday day ticket and £45 for a weekend ticket. VIP ticket options are available too. More info : www.easternelectrics.com
