Last month's first installment of URL ≠ IRL was a breath of fresh new music for the East Atlanta Village. Graveyard Tavern is a well established ATL favorite of the locals so the party was unhinged, and that's just putting it lightly. Jennifer Lawrence made a random appearance (in a fur coat) and ended up chugging a 40 at the bar. The cast of Vampire Diaries rolled through. Even Chris Hemsworth (you know him as the new Thor) showed up to have a good time. Don't ask us how or why but it happened. Here's a bit of photographical evidence of the party.
This Saturday, 3/22, marks the date of our second gathering of future music conscious peoples in ATL. Lil Texas is the guest of honor alongside myself and local favorites BLKKMORRIS and Sofaking of the ATL-based dj/music/party/art crew Cobra Corps. I would assume Lil Texas needs no introduction but in the off chance you aren't already familiar with all the things he's been up to, I'll give you a quick recap. As one of the most active members of producer super-group M|O|D, LT has had a hand full of releases through Mad Decent, Donky Pitch, XLR8R, and more. He recently played as direct support for DJ Snake in LA and Dillon Francis in NYC.
