Bestival makes its inaugural trip across the pond in just two weeks, touching down on Toronto's Island on Friday June 12th and Saturday June 13th for the first installment of the UK's award winning eclectic festival. Having just announced the final stage lineup featuring the main acts such as Florence & The Machine, Nas, Caribou, Banks, Clean Bandit and many more, Bestival has been teasing us over the last few weeks by first announcing the two well organized stages that round out the festival. The setting at one of Toronto's most beautiful public parks on the Island allows Bestival to become an escape from the city, and judging by the venue design from the UK editions, we're in for a serious treat. The deep house & techno stage, presented as a Bollywood themed temple, offers an impeccable array of cutting edge electronic music with a lineup featuring Jamie Jones, DJ Tennis, Nicole Moudaber, Jamie XX, Daphni (the techno alias of Caribou's Dan Snaith!), Justin Martin, Skream, Paco Osuna, Cassy, Nathan Barato, Justin James and more. You can bet we'll be locked into this vibe all weekend.
Rounding things off with the Bacardi Big Top tent that offers festival goers a chance to see some of the biggest names in trap, future house, and whatever else the kids are listening to these days. Bestival clearly has everyone's interests in mind here, with superstars like Flume, SBTRKT, Flosstradamus, Robin Schulz, Zhu and more headlining.
