Now 17 years into its existence, Tim Sweeney's Beats In Space represents a remarkable achievement in radio in this day and age. Though he graduated college in 2003, his show still airs on 89.1 and beatsinspace.net and along with his label Beats In Space Records, he has developed into one of the premiere tastemakers in the world. His selections are unique and timeless, and this weekend he's making a rare trip north of the border for two stops in Canada, starting with Parlour on Friday in Toronto. The intimate club just celebrated their 5 year anniversary with Viken Arman & Nu, and the venue plays hosts to the most forward thinking artists week in and week out.
