Atlanta's Shaky Knees Festival is an indie-lover's dream

Shaky Knees, which takes place May 12, 13, and 14 in Centennial Olympic Park, has announced their lineup for 2017 – and it's freaking awesome. Shaky Knees is chocked full of indie mega-bands and is a mecca for tons of artists on the rise. Headliners include The xx, LCD Soundsystem and Phoenix, with other notable acts like Cage the Elephant, The Shins, and Catfish and the Bottlemen.

One of the great things about this festival is the caliber of artists it brings. Lots of recent festivals have had really strong headliners, but been rather weak when it comes to the smaller artists. With Shaky Knees this isn't a problem. Some of my favorites, like Pinegrove, Run River North, Foreign Air and Whitney really round out the talent. The whole lineup is so good, I'm getting shaky knees just thinking about it.

Advanced 3-day tickets are on sale now here for $185, and single-day tickets are scheduled to go on sale soon.
